The event includes: hands on pizza making, educational class on Italian style pizzas, food includes: Italian style pizzas, salad and dessert. Soft drinks included. Cash bar for wine.
This is definitely going to be our best event yet! We are going to learn all about the different styles of pizzas in Italia and across the US. Then we are going to learn how to make pizza dough with a hands on demonstration. And finally, we are going to make our own pizzas in the state of the art pizza ovens at the North American Pizza Academy. This is a HANDS ON Event. If you want to learn all about how to make amazing home made Italian style pizza, then come join us at this event.
The event is led by Leo Spizzirri who is a native Chicagoan and lifelong pizza lover who grew up in his family’s bakery. Leo is an artisan pizza and bread maker by trade. He was certified as a pizzaiolo by 11 time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani at the International School of Pizza. He completed his studies at the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli in Italy under headmaster and world pizza champion Graziano Bertuzzo. His work has been seen and tasted all over the world both as an international pizza competitor and as an instructor. Leo a respected authority in Chicago style pizza and lives in Carol Stream, Illinois with his wife Melisa and their daughters Angelina, Isabella, and Giada.
