Chicagoland Italian American Professionals presents our 21st event.  This event is going to satisfy your pizza craveings and Italian wine tasting curiosities in ways you have never imagined.  

​The event will showcase an assortment of delicious woodfire cooked pizzas from LaCrosta in the heart of Lincoln Park.  The event price will also include salad, 2 glasses of wine, dessert and wine tasting of 4 different Italian wines including Sangiovese, Chianti, Nero D'avola, and Multipulciano.  

Tickets at the door are $40.  Prepay to get a $5 discount.

CIAP #20 Presents:
​Cuccidati Fest @ Casa Italia Chicago on December 17th at 2pm
​The Chicagoland Italian American Professionals organization (www.chicagolanditalians.com) is proud to present the first, annual “CuccidatiFest”, La Festa Dei Cuccidati, at the Casa Italia “Chandelier Room”, 3800 Division, Stone Park, on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.   Requested donation of $15 includes coffee, Prosecco and a selection of cuccidati.

The presentation will include cash prizes of up to $100 for “the best tasting” home-made cuccidati,  the “best decorated”  cuccidati , the best local bakery-made cuccidati and the best cuccidati from the Internet.

There will also be  a baking demonstration of this traditional Sicilian Christmas fig cookie,  as well as its history and origins.

The event is intended to recognize individuals who have  preserved the tradition of making the cuccidati as well as highlighting local bakeries that still produce it. 
​
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Casa Italia.

​The Chicagoland Italian American Professionals is pleased to announce our 19th networking event.  This event is all about the region of Molise. Molise, the ancient land of the pre-roman Sannite tribe, is largely undiscovered, even by most Italians, yet boasts dramatic landscapes of great beauty and variety. 

Our event will take place at Tre Soldi (http://tresoldichicago.com) located in the heart the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago.  Tre Soldi is led by the Director of Operations and Partner Marco Villavicencio who has worked for the Coco Pazzo Restaurant group for 5 years. The event will showcase food and wine from the region of Molise and we will have a special guest speaker, Jennifer Landor. Founder of Live and Learn Italia.  http://liveandlearnitalian.com/.
